BC Children’s Hospital Foundation Selects XMC to Assess Trends in Strategic Philanthropy
March 16, 2021 – XMC, a leading Canadian sponsorship strategy and consultation agency is pleased to announce today that BC Children’s Hospital Foundation (BCCHF) has selected XMC to undertake a market research project to determine current trends in corporate strategic partnerships and giving, and the impact of COVID-19 on both brand and consumer actions in partnership.
“XMC’s strategic approach to partnership marketing and their expertise in understanding the brand/consumer relationship was critical in our selection of an agency partner”, said Stuart Craig, Associate Director, Business Development. “As our organization works hard to adapt to the rapidly shifting corporate and philanthropic landscape, having market experts like XMC inform our partnership approach will allow us to be that much more precise and ultimately, successful”.
Using its proprietary tools and unparalleled market knowledge, XMC will deliver a comprehensive overview of the state of corporate partnerships in the philanthropic and charitable sectors with an emphasis on recent shifts and trends in corporate and consumer behaviour as a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic. “Working with organizations like BCCHF who contribute immeasurably to our community and families across the province of BC is an opportunity that we’re proud to undertake”, said Mike Spicer, XMC Director. “We’re excited to equip BCCHF with valuable intelligence and a strategic framework that will allow the Foundation to best engage the corporate community and emerge from the current pandemic in an even stronger position.”

About BCCHF. BC Children’s is the only hospital in the province devoted exclusively to the care of children. That means one million kids—including some of the sickest and most seriously injured—count on the hospital for specialized care they often can’t receive anywhere else. Last year, more than 96,000 patients visited the hospital—which not only includes its acute care centre, but also its research institute, mental health facility and rehabilitation centre. Since 1982, the Foundation has been working to inspire people and communities to join our quest and raise the bar of children’s health care.
