Account Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Account Manager is an important client interface and in collaboration with the account team or Director for client satisfaction. The role includes the planning, execution and measurement of programs and projects within the parameters of the overall client brand strategy. The Account Manager role includes client relationship building and management, excellence in program delivery and execution, as well as the retention and/or growth of the business. As an XMC team member, the Account Manager demonstrates collaboration, strives for excellence and always looks to better the agency and improve effectiveness overall.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

On-time and on-budget delivery of client programs including contributing to planning, project management, and execution. This may include some resource planning and delegation to account coordinators and other team members.

Client relationship building, and client and stakeholder management including anticipating and managing potential challenges. Ensuring ongoing and trusted two-way communications with clients. Ownership of client satisfaction.

Contribute to client strategy and/or program plan including providing innovative ideas, exploring new opportunities for client success, and continuous improvement. Provides regular and timely communication with account team and Director for overall client account coordination and success.

Overall XMC team contribution including sharing ideas, enabling the success of other, and having an impact on the overall effectiveness of the business.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Related university degree, college diploma or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years marketing and client relationship experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and grow trusted relationships.
  • Project and program management experience.
  • Demonstrate tenacity and dedication to achieving goals.
  • Can work effectively under pressure.
